Dr. Courtney R. McCashland is a founding partner and Chief of Science & Strategy at AuctusIQ, LLC, a company that leverages predictive talent analytics to help sales leaders turn sales talent into sustained business performance. With her doctorate degree in organizational leadership from USC, Dr. McCashland has applied her studies on leadership talents to develop and lead several successful companies. Throughout her career, she has been recognized as a self-funded business executive, who has started seven companies for outsized returns, making her a successful woman entrepreneur in a male-dominated industry.
With an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Psychology, and Journalism, and early career experience as an Account Executive at PR Agency Tracy-Locke/Pharr, Dr. McCashland went on to earn a Master’s degree in Qualitative & Quantitative Research and work as a Senior Research Director at the Gallup organization. Later in her career, she joined the executive team at Lydian Bank & Trust, where she founded TalentMine – a talent analytics company. As CEO of TalentMine, she teamed up with Marcus Buckingham to co-found Strengths Research. TalentMine was acquired by Kenexa and IBM where she served as President of the Global Assessment Division. During the last decade, Dr. McCashland acquired a suite of science and software assets from IBM to found Showcase and ultimately co-founded Velocity/AuctusIQ with Troy Kanter.
Throughout her career, Dr. McCashland has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the National President Bush Point of Light Award, Florida Businesswoman of the Year, the 2023 Top 20 Women Leadership Award, and being the sole woman on Executive Teams for three companies. As a co-author and developer of talent assessments, Dr. McCashland has contributed to three best-selling books that have featured her work: Standout, Go Put Your Strengths to Work, and The Survivors Club.
